Growing up on a farm in South Africa, I developed a deep love for plants and gardening from an early age. With acres of lush gardens and a wholesale nursery on the farm, I spent countless hours immersed in the world of plants, learning to propagate, grow, and care for a wide variety of plants. This upbringing ignited my passion for gardening and laid the foundation for My Stylish Backyard blog. However, early in life, I also faced mobility and pain issues, which made gardening more challenging for me. This personal experience has shaped my approach to making gardening accessible and enjoyable for everyone, no matter your age or abilities.
